Biography

Baseball is a true passion of mine, and I possess many years of experience in this area. I have played the sport for nearly my whole life; about 13 years. This leaves only 5 years that I was not involved in this sport. I have played on many teams, several leagues, and played many positions. I started out playing T-ball for Rockford Little League when I was approximately 5 or 6 years old. I played one year of T-ball, and then moved up through the levels. In  little League, I spent about 4 or 5 years if I remember correctly. Then I moved up to an older league. It was Roy Gayle Baseball, and I played through the age levels there also. After this league, I finally was in high school and was able to try out for my school's team. I made the team and continued my baseball career. Over those many years of baseball, I learned many things. I learned the game of baseball, all the positions, how to play all the positions, new plays, and how to get better at the sport. After learning almost everything there is to know about baseball, I then focused on improving on my skills. My skills during my high school years, were when I really began to perfect my skills. In my senior year of high school I dislocated my shoulder during a game, and ended my career. To this day I still am an avid baseball fan, and I always will be. I prefer actually playing the game, than watching it on television.
I chose this topic to blog about for several reasons. Mainly I chose it to discuss a sport I love, and could spend hours talking about or playing. This is a topic that I could never get sick of, and hopefully I can connect with readers who share the same love for baseball.
